Community Change Institute, September 26-30 in Toronto
The Art of Disruption: New Ways to Engage Your Community
Tamarack’s Community Change Institute, to be held September 26-30 in Toronto, is designed to be an inspiring experience that combines learning, art, discovery, rest, and recreation in our work to anticipate and effectively respond to the disruptions impacting communities and cities. This event offers the latest in community change with top speakers and more than 40 workshops in the areas of:
- Collective Impact
- Collaborative Leadership
- Community Innovation
- Community Engagement
- Evaluating Community Impact
You’ll hear from thought leaders Severn Cullis-Suzuki, Roger Martin, Francis Westley and Patrick Stephen on how to turn disruption into a powerful, creative force. You’ll benefit from the deep expertise of Tamarack faculty, including Paul Born, Mark Holmgren, Liz Weaver, Sylvia Cheuy, and Rachel Gainer. The curriculum will give you an opportunity to dive into key streams of learning that are foundational to community change.
In keeping with our theme, we’ll disrupt the learning experience with fun, art, and physical movement. Explore the city, benefit from the hotel’s pool and fitness centre, participate in daily yoga and guided walks, and enjoy time in the learning commons with artists, entertainers, poets, and musicians. Don’t miss the Thursday night party – it’s legendary.
Group rates are available for colleagues or collectives who enroll together. To learn more or register your team for this workshop, please visit the Community Change Institute event page.
